by a guy with "steak" in his name...dang, that sentence contains so much testosterone, my biceps grew a quarter inch while I was writing it. Anyway, this novel, about soldiers in powered armor fighting giant insects (yes, I know you've heard that one before), is made of pure awesome.
, it features a gigantic transforming space-borne battleship containing an entire city and an inexhaustible supply of fighter planes that transform into giant robots. What's not to love? Well, for starters, there's the pop songs, but we can forgive that. And by the way, I think it's creepy to have a photo album full of anime characters.
